At the entrance we were greeted by an extremely fresh smell, comfortable slippers, towels for 6 people, as many as there were of us for 2-3 days, then they replace new ones. The lobby is also quite large, with hangers for all clothes and shoes. Also a large living room with a huge sofa that extends into a real large bed. The space is combined with a dining room and a kitchen with a spacious refrigerator, a stove with a ceramic hob, everything you need for carefree cooking. Great place to hang out. Unfortunately, the apartment does not have a view of the mountains, but we just enjoyed it outside, as all the excursion points are in the immediate vicinity. I recommend a walk in the nature reserve Zelenci, a tour of the Russian Chapel, a hike to Vršič and other mountains, as well as a visit to Planica and the Nordic Center, where you can see the history of skiing, from the first skis (some of which are also exhibited), museum, hover tunnel , a large souvenir shop and sports equipment. Next to it is an admirable large and beautiful football field with artificial grass, saunas, as well as underground skiing on the 3rd floor. Straight amazing ... And in the end you can refresh yourself in a spacious cafe, inside or outside on the sun terrace. But if you want even more sun, there is an open plateau right on top with benches and a beautiful view far around and around. The village of Rateče is simply beautiful. read less
